Summary
In chapter 3 of “Demon Slayer” manga, Tanjiro meets a former demon slayer named Sakonji Urokodaki, who becomes his mentor. Sakonji tests Tanjiro’s abilities by asking him to slice a boulder with a sword, but Tanjiro fails the test repeatedly. Despite this, Sakonji sees potential in Tanjiro and agrees to train him as a demon slayer.
Sakonji takes Tanjiro to a mountain where he must survive for seven days and nights, fending off demons and collecting a special herb that will help him in his training. Tanjiro faces many challenges during his training, including a powerful demon that threatens to kill him. However, he manages to overcome each obstacle and successfully completes his training.
Sakonji declares Tanjiro ready to become a demon slayer and gives him a special sword made from an ore that can only be found on the mountain. The chapter ends with Tanjiro preparing to leave the mountain and continue his journey as a demon slayer.
