Summary
In chapter 2 of “Demon Slayer” manga, Tanjiro and Nezuko are on their way to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters with Giyu. Along the way, they encounter a demon who has been killing young girls in a nearby town. Tanjiro decides to confront the demon and protect the town, despite Giyu’s warning that it is too dangerous for him.
Tanjiro manages to track down the demon and engages in a fierce battle with him. He discovers that the demon is using hypnotic arrows to control his victims and tries to use this knowledge to defeat him. However, the demon manages to overpower Tanjiro and prepares to kill him.
Just as all hope seems lost, Nezuko suddenly awakens from her slumber and attacks the demon, saving Tanjiro’s life. The chapter ends with Giyu expressing shock and disbelief that Nezuko, a demon, was able to resist her urge to attack humans and protect her brother.
